Idaho colleges and universities have requested over $884 million in the 2027-28 budget, including $12.1M for enrollment workload adjustment to boost high-demand programs and staffing amid growing enrollment.

Volunteer firefighters from Whitman County Fire District 11 and the City of Colfax stopped a wildfire on Monday afternoon on North Palouse River Road near the canyon walls.

LC State Women’s Golf team opened the Oregon Tech Fall Invitational on Monday at Running Y Ranch Resort by posting a strong round that tied them for second, with Isabella Barquet leading and Kamryn Mansfield making a promising debut.
