- ➤ Public school and Medicaid officials must submit plans today to cut budgets by up to 2% as state leaders address revenue uncertainty, adding to the 3% cuts made last summer + reducing school funding by $55 million and Medicaid by $20 million. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Eight LC State Cross Country student-athletes and both Warrior teams earned academic honors from the USTFCCCA for the 2025 season, announced on Thursday. The women’s team posted a 3.68 GPA and the men achieved a 3.34 GPA (meeting the required marks for All-Academic distinction). Dailyfly
- ➤ On Saturday, Feb. 7 at 4:30 p.m., the LC State Baseball Program will host First Pitch Night at the Lewiston Elks Lodge to allow LC Valley residents to meet the 2026 team and help cover rising travel and equipment costs. KLEW
