ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game is starting its annual broodstock collection program on Feb. 2 on the South Fork Clearwater River. Volunteer anglers will help collect hatchery steelhead during daylight hours through April or until goals are met and eligible fish are sent to local hatcheries for spawning. Dailyfly

- ➤ Idaho awarded a $25K grant to the Princeton-Hampton sewer district on January 30 to assess needed upgrades for its system, and the district will spend another $25K to fund the work + address improvements. Dailyfly

- ➤ Redfin’s December 2025 data shows that buying a home in Lewiston requires about 29% more income than renting, with buyers needing around $94,185 compared to $73,033 (the median sale and rent prices were $367,500 and $1,826).
