- ➤ Asotin Police have partnered with local law agencies & Twin River Special Olympics to host a Polar Plunge fundraiser at Lewiston Snap Fitness starting at 10 a.m. The event will raise funds for athlete essentials including uniforms and transportation. Dailyfly
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Lewis-Clark State College is one step closer to becoming Lewis-Clark State University after the Senate Education Committee voted on Wednesday to approve a name change bill (Bill 1234). The Lewiston-based school offers associate, bachelor's and graduate degrees, and the proposal now heads to the full Senate. Dailyfly
- ➤ The Idaho Supreme Court upheld the Parental Choice Tax Credit on Thursday, keeping a refund program that covers non-public school costs retroactive to Jan. 1, 2025 and offers up to $5,000 per student + $7,500 for disabilities. Over 5,000 applications have been received and will be processed until March 15. KHQ
