- ➤ Idaho Lottery began offering Millionaire for Life on Feb. 22—a daily $5 game that lets players win a lifetime annuity of $1,000,000 or $100,000 a year and enter a second chance draw for a Paris trip until April 22. Tickets are available where lottery products are sold. Big Country News

- ➤ The Legislature passed joint memorial HJM 11 Tuesday, requesting 40% federal funding for special education for 41,200 students—an indication lawmakers see a funding gap ahead of a Senate Education Committee hearing on a high-needs bill aimed at creating a state fund for full-time support. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Repairs to the bridge connecting Lewiston and Clarkston on US 12 will cause several closures lasting 30 minutes each between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Feb. 25 and 26; crews will fix mechanical issues that delayed the bridge lift in January. Big Country News
- ➤ Lewiston Police Department is seeking more signups for its Citizens Police Academy and warns the class may be canceled if not enough people register by tomorrow (Feb. 25).
