- ➤ Lawmakers in Idaho passed a bill to improve student medical care — the measure lets schools provide non-emergency help like band-aids without parental consent and call emergency services or a mental health hotline if needed. The bill now moves to the House floor for further consideration. KHQ
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lewiston officials are monitoring potential flooding as heavy rain in the past 24 hours may overwhelm the stormwater system. Public Works is addressing standing water in streets and parks and will use Stormwater Utility funding to improve vulnerable areas (including a pond along Alder Avenue that recently overflowed). KHQ
