- ➤ April Buckingham earned one of her biggest wins for LC State Women’s Tennis on Sunday when she won a three-set singles match against No. 8 Xavier (La.) with scores of 3-6, 6-4, 11-9 even as her team lost 6-1. She picked up the only point for the Warrior women in the contest. Dailyfly
- ➤ On Saturday, No. 20 LC State Baseball split a doubleheader at Eastern Oregon, winning one game by a score of 11 to 9 and then losing the other 11 to 9. The team hit nine home runs overall + Ike George and Abe Affholter each hit two to help determine the outcome. Dailyfly
- ➤ On Saturday, Griffen Parsells became the first LC State athlete to hit a national-qualifying mark in the 800m with a 1:51.99 run at the Oregon Preview in Eugene — a highlight amid a rainy weekend that challenged the team. Coaches said they will build on this effort in future meets. Dailyfly
