- ➤ Two Clarkston residents, Benjamin and Mona McKenzie, were arrested on March 24 and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver after a SWAT team searched a home on 8th Street and found methamphetamine, packaging materials, scales, and cash + police say the arrests came after months of surveillance and controlled buys by a confidential informant + the investigation remains ongoing. - ➤ Lewiston Firefighters Local 1773 issued a statement Monday backing a district court ruling—requiring the City of Lewiston to enter mediation-arbitration to resolve its labor dispute as the union had proposed this process in November; the union said the ruling reinforces that contracts matter after a 175-day period without one.
