- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game announced hunters can apply for controlled hunt tags for moose, bighorn sheep, and mountain goat today through April 30. Applicants must have a valid 2026 license and pay both application and tag fees, with drawing results expected online in early June. Dailyfly

- ➤ Candidates for Nez Perce County commissioner District 2 reported their campaign signs were vandalized and stolen over the weekend in Lewiston Orchards, with detective Nick Woods (who shared video evidence) saying he may press charges while former reporter Keith Havens offered to sign them before the May 19 election. - ➤ Governor Brad Little announced today that Idaho submitted its response to the DOE’s request for states to host a Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campus. The proposal, coordinated with the Advanced Nuclear Energy Task Force and backed by industry letters, aims to boost the state's nuclear leadership and economy. Big Country News
