- ➤ A record 75 artisan vendors will join the 39th annual Art Under the Elms from April 18 to 20 at Lewis-Clark State College, organized by LC State Center for Arts and History. The event will feature an artisan marketplace, food vendors, musical performances, and hands-on activities for families during LC State Family Weekend and is free and open to the public. - ➤ Idaho State Police will host the weeklong iLEAD Academy for high school students this summer in Meridian + the program will offer hands-on leadership training and law enforcement exposure to participants from across Idaho. Big Country News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The legislature sent a bill to Governor Brad Little today that would remove the front license plate requirement and regulate plate readers, a move opposed by law enforcement who say front plates are key for solving serious crimes like murder and child kidnapping. Payette County Sheriff Andy Creech said his department has long relied on front plates for investigations, and the governor has up to seven days to decide the bill's fate. Big Country News

- ➤ On April 6th, No. 24 LC State Men’s Tennis ended its home schedule with a 7—0 loss to NCAA Division I Northern Arizona as the doubles sweep earned the contest's first point.
