Valley County detectives arrested a 22-year-old man from Lacey last week after tracing Instagram messages that enticed young children to send sexual exploitation images, and search warrants uncovered digital evidence linking him to victims in Valley County and Olympia—Lacey police assisted in his arrest.

At Whitworth’s Jeff Rahn Classic Friday, eight Warrior women set personal bests, and Sydnie Zywina broke her NAIA triple jump record with a mark of 11.94m—team improvements also included faster sprint times and longer throws that boosted their national rankings.
Jadon Williamson recorded 14 strikeouts in five innings as Lewis-Clark State defeated College of Idaho 6–3 to open its four-game Cascade Conference series and improve to 25–10 overall and 21–5 in conference play—relief pitchers Jackson Cloud and Kolby Solomon pitched shutout innings to secure the win.
At the Jeff Rahn Classic on Friday, LC State Men’s Track and Field had a strong day as Griffen Parsells ran one of the best 800m races this season in 1:50.71—Perry Severijnse also met the javelin B standard with a 58.37m throw while teammates set new personal bests.
