- ➤ LC State Baseball clinched the series win over the College of Idaho on Saturday in Lewiston — its pitchers allowed only two earned runs and three hits in the nightcap. The Warriors improved their record to 27-10 overall and 23-5 in conference play. Dailyfly
- ➤ At an April 12 banquet at Coeur d’Alene Resort, the North Idaho Athletic Hall of Fame named Alton Hamilton the Male Athlete of the Year in the college division. Hamilton—a standout from LC State—earned First-Team NAIA All-America honors after a strong season. Dailyfly
- ➤ Athletes, teams and coaches from LC State’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs as well as LC State Baseball and Track and Field programs were named finalists for the North Idaho Athletic Hall of Fame awards. At the banquet on April 12 at the Coeur d’Alene Resort, Alton Hamilton was honored as the Male Athlete of the Year in the college division — his standout season earned him several honors.
