Barber Dan has published his memoir, We Say Crick Here: Life, Laughter, and Lessons from the Barber Chair, sharing over 250 stories from his 20 years behind the chair; the book is now available at his shop and online.
🎓 Education
Lewis-Clark State College will celebrate Arbor Day on May 1 by planting a prairie expedition American elm at the northeast corner of campus at 2 p.m. The school will mark its sixth consecutive Tree Campus designation with speeches by President Cynthia Pemberton and Humanities Division Chair Amanda Van Lanen.

On April 16, contestants auditioned at Harris Field to be the national anthem singer for the NAIA Baseball World Series at LC State, set to start in 35 days + finalists will learn the judges’ decision next week while non-selected singers may join LC State home events next school year.
