- ➤ At approximately 3:10 a.m. on Monday, the Lewiston Fire Department responded to a motorhome fire at 3007 East Main Street, where one resident suffered smoke inhalation after using a garden hose to douse the flames and was taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center — the motorhome sustained about $3000 in damage as investigators work to determine the cause. - ➤ AAA said that lower crude oil prices brought the cost of a gallon of regular gas in Idaho to $3.31—two cents less than last week and 61 cents lower than a year ago—with Lewiston gas at $3.43. - ➤ Voters in Lewiston must pre-register by Friday, April 25 for the May 20 election at the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s Office, which will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.—registered voters with name or address changes must re-register and those unable to pre-register before the deadline can register at the polls on Election Day.
