A community fundraiser last weekend in Lewiston raised $40,000 + helped a former local athlete who uses a wheelchair secure an accessible van.

Idaho Fish and Game will stock nearly 240,000 catchable-sized rainbow trout in lakes, ponds, and reservoirs across the Clearwater Region this May — boosting catch rates and offering families new angling opportunities.

In Lewiston, Kiwanis Park Pond will receive about 900 trout near park areas.

A new study covering April 2021 to today shows Washington recorded over 1,700 hazmat transit incidents with nearly $1.5 million in damage and 15 incidents leading to death or hospitalization — Idaho logged fewer than 300 cases with about $950,000 in damage and seven resulting in hospitalization.
