Today the Lewiston School District is joining the Summer Food Service Program to offer free meals for children ages 1 to 18 — meals start on June 8 and run through Aug.

6 with breakfast at Sacajawea from 7 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon at five designated sites, including Centennial Elementary, Jenifer Middle, Sacajawea Middle, and two rural mobile sites.

Residents in Lewiston are voting today on a proposed $25 million bond to upgrade underground wastewater, water, stormwater and road infrastructure.

Polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at multiple sites (voters must show a valid ID or sign an affidavit).
