  • On Sunday morning, a Jeep Wrangler veered off Highway 95 near mile marker 315, striking a hillside and injuring its driver who was taken to a hospital—Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office officials are investigating the crash.  KLEW

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Idaho Fish and Game is hosting a virtual training webinar on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to train volunteer community scientists for a milkweed survey that runs from July 1 through Aug. 15 — volunteers will check sites one to three times and record patch health — and the data will help the agency with future decisions on protecting Monarch butterflies.  Big Country News

  • The Idaho Office of Highway Safety warned that the 100 deadliest days on highways have begun after 74 traffic deaths occurred by May 12, up from 57 last year.
