🚨 Crime
A 28-year-old man named Damon was arrested on May 30 after he threw orange juice at a Lewiston officer near a fast-food restaurant and kicked officers during his arrest—he now faces felony battery on an officer and misdemeanor resisting charges.
Authorities warned residents that scammers are falsely promising to speed up REAL ID processing online, and transportation officials said to delete any messages with suspicious links (do not click on them) to avoid fraud.

The Nez Perce Tribe established a Department of Planning and Economic Development in Lapwai — the new office will guide both short term and long term strategies for economic growth while honoring cultural values.
