Lewiston Police arrested 52-year-old Shannon L.
Grove on Thursday on a federal warrant for distributing fentanyl after investigators linked her sale of the drug in Clarkston to Tyrel Roberge’s overdose death on October 14—multiple agencies including the FBI and Clarkston Police supported the investigation and she was taken into custody without incident.
Lewiston Airport raised its daily parking fee from $5 to $6, marking its first increase since 2020.
Airport officials said the extra revenue will fund operations — the fee remains the lowest in the region.
Drivers traveling on Lewiston Hill will face intermittent 15-minute closures on U.S. Highway 95 between Lewiston and the top of the grade—maintenance crews are scheduled to work today and tomorrow.
The Port of Lewiston has partnered with Pivot Tech Development, Inc. to build a fiber optic network that will be owned by the community—managed by nonprofit Confluence Communications after municipal bonds are repaid over a 30-year period.
Construction will begin in the coming months and service is expected to launch by October.
