  • Authorities arrested 67-year-old Kenneth Ely, a North Idaho man charged with ten counts of possession of child exploitation material linked to alleged child sexual exploitation+ several agencies worked on the case as Attorney General Raúl Labrador said his office will hold those accused accountable under the law.  KHQ

  • Rock legends Lita Ford and Dee Snider will co-headline a live concert at Clearwater River Casino on Saturday, October 25 — their performance is expected to draw fans for a night of classic rock. ECONOMY NEWS

  • The Idaho Department of Labor reported that the unemployment rate dropped from 3.7% to 3.6% in May as the labor force fell by 875 to 1,011,244—total employment decreased while nonfarm jobs increased by 2,500. Some regions showed gains with Pocatello and Boise adding jobs—Lewiston’s employment numbers did not change.  Dailyfly

  • The Idaho Legislature passed Senate Bill 1105 this year to update fees on the 'Don't Tread on Me' plate, which now costs $35 for initial issuance and $25 for annual renewal. The new fee structure — with parts of the fees funding firearm safety education programs and the plate program administration — supports enhanced gun safety courses in schools.  Dailyfly
  • WSDOT is holding three open house events (Colfax on June 23, Pasco on June 24, Clarkston on June 25) to gather public feedback on the Lower Snake River Dams Transportation Study.   • LC State Men's Track and Field added four sprinters for the 2025 to 26 season, including local standout Noah Carpenter, Milo Kunnap from Clarkston, Camden Koerner from Spokane, and Isahi Salinas from Fruitland.
