- ➤ The Idaho Transportation Department's Office of Highway Safety reported an increase in road fatalities, with 126 deaths this year compared to 113 last year, and new speed patrols will begin July 20 to 26. The measures are part of a regional effort with Washington, Oregon, Montana and Alaska — aiming to reduce traffic deaths. KHQ
