- ➤ The Lewis Clark Animal Shelter has launched PAWSITIVE START, a new dog training program led by certified trainer V. Blair Voltz to teach basic commands and build stronger bonds between dogs and their owners. - ➤ The City of Lewiston announced that Bryden Canyon Road will be closed nightly from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. from July 13 through July 25 to let crews maintain the stormwater system along the road from 4th Street to Snake River Avenue — residents should take alternate routes during closure hours. - ➤ The Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office will start targeted aggressive driving enforcement patrols on Sunday, July 20 to reduce dangerous driving and prevent crashes—officials said patrols will focus on high-traffic areas. KLEW
- ➤ Idaho's new law took effect on July 1st and exempts small sellers with gross sales under $5,000 from needing a seller’s permit or collecting sales tax—however, this exemption does not apply to vehicles, lodging, alcohol, or admissions.
