- ➤ CHS Primeland ended its Harvest for Hunger campaign in Lewiston by donating nearly $62,000 to The Idaho Foodbank — the funds will support up to 101,000 meals along with contributions to eight local partner organizations addressing food insecurity. Big Country News

- ➤ Nez Perce Tribal Police and IARN rescued 22 small dogs from a mobile home on Grouse Road near Lapwai on July 17 after concerns emerged during an evacuation when officers found the animals living in unsafe conditions with no running water and improper power arrangements — the operation aimed to prevent serious health risks. - ➤ Bryan Kohberger, the man accused of killing four University of Idaho students last November, will be sentenced on July 23 — local reporters will cover the hearing as families and the North Idaho community seek closure. KHQ

- ➤ Nimiipuu Health in Lapwai released the documentary Missing Pieces — The Story of Colleen Lupe to honor her life and raise dementia awareness in tribal communities, premiering the film on April 15 and screening it at events including the NMPH Women’s Wellness Conference on April 24 and nationally during a May conference. The film has been shared with over 12 Tribal communities and will be featured at upcoming events such as Lewiston Library’s Aging with Intent Workshop on July 22, while a series of short educational videos is planned.
