- ➤ A Lewiston man, Levi Page Hibdon, 26, was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly rammed a parked vehicle with two people at a mobile home park—pushing it into two others and causing an estimated $22,500 in damage; he drove off and now faces a felony charge with his initial court appearance set for Wednesday afternoon. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Voters in Asotin County approved a renewal and rate increase of the EMS levy for Fire District 1 during the August 5 primary, restoring the rate from $0.36 to $0.50 per $1,000 to help cover a 50% rise in emergency calls and fund new equipment.
