- ➤ Residents on the Nez Perce Reservation are told to take precautions as wildfire smoke sets air quality to unhealthy levels. - ➤ The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced that six recreation areas along the lower Snake River — including Lewiston Levee Parkway near the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center — will reopen for fall use in late August and September after earlier closures due to staffing issues.
