The Mile Marker 320 Fire was estimated at 250 acres and 10% contained yesterday in rugged drainage terrain that limited crew access using aerial support, while 120 firefighters (3 crews, 6 water tenders, 7 engines, and 2 scooper planes) responded and Highway 95 remained open with traffic.
🏥 Health
Lewiston Firefighters Local 1773 collected over $19,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association on Saturday during its annual Fill the Boot campaign—featuring 11-year-old Emery Schumacher as the local ambassador.
The Idaho Behavioral Health Council recommended that opioid settlement funds be prioritized for at-risk populations + rural communities after a meeting on Friday.
Their report lists counties such as Kootenai, Benewah, Nez Perce, Bannock, Bear Lake, Clearwater, Boise and Ada, and lawmakers will review the recommendations next.
