- ➤ Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Sunday at 10:25 a.m. on Interstate 90 near Smelterville in Shoshone County—67 year old man riding a 2002 Harley Davidson lost control after his tire blew, causing the 66 year old female passenger’s helmet to come off and she was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver was taken to a hospital. - ➤ A Lapwai man, Christian Forslof, 30, was arraigned via Zoom on second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder charges for a Sept. 5 shooting on Thunder Hill Road that killed a woman and injured a man—his bond was set at $1 million and his next court hearing is scheduled for Sept. 17. - ➤ A 22-year-old woman from Kooskia was arrested on two felony battery charges after throwing items and spitting on deputies during a DUI investigation at the Lewiston Roundup Grounds on September 6—she later appeared in court with a $2,500 bond. Dailyfly
