- ➤ Lewis-Clark State College's Center for Arts & History will host its annual Grape & Grain fundraising event on Oct. 10 from 6-9 p.m. at the downtown Lewiston center where local wineries, breweries and artists will offer tastings, live piano music and interactive art demos with proceeds supporting CAH programming. - ➤ Lewis-Clark State College's Center for Arts and History will open its Radiant Realms exhibit on October 3 with a free public reception from 5 to 9 p.m. The exhibit, which coincides with the Lewiston Downtown Artwalk, will offer live art demonstrations and harp music and will remain on display until December 13. - ➤ Idaho drivers are paying more for regular gas at $3.51 per gallon this week due to a regional supply disruption when the Olympic Pipeline shut down, with Lewiston prices rising 13 cents to $3.54. - ➤ The City of Lewiston announced downtown road closures on Sept. 18 and Sept. 21—Main Street will be closed from 5th to 9th Street on Sept. 18 from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Sept. 19, and 7th, 8th and F Streets will be closed on Sept. 21 from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Detour routes will be posted to assist motorists. - ➤ U.S. Senator Mike Crapo welcomed five fall interns for his Washington, D.C. and Boise offices, including Lewiston’s Trevor Rasmussen, a University of Idaho graduate now working in the D.C. office.
