CRIME NEWS
- ➤ All St. Joseph Regional Medical Center locations are on lockdown today due to an active external security threat involving a family—law enforcement is investigating while access is restricted to the North Entrance with valid identification required. KLEW
- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game officers in north Idaho have deployed life-like decoys—made to look like moose, elk and deer—to catch hunters breaking the law, warning that shooting a decoy may lead to license loss, fines up to $1,000 and up to six months in jail. KHQ
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lewiston announced that the infrastructure bond will return to the ballot on Nov. 4th with changes that include transportation upgrades near the blue bridge—where sewer replacements and traffic improvements are planned—using state funding of $2.45 million to lower costs from $25 million to $22.5 million. The project will work with downtown business owners to minimize disruptions. KLEW
