Idaho gas prices fell this week when the average price for a gallon of regular gas hit $3.44 today—two cents less than last week and nine cents less than a month ago, though it remains three cents above last year's price.
The national average is just under $3.04 per gallon and may drop further if crude oil prices and demand continue to cool.

Port of Lewiston General Manager Scott Corbitt was honored last week with the Distinguished Service Award from PNWA in Vancouver for his leadership defending the Lower Snake River Dams—he was also elected to the PNWA Executive Committee, replacing the retiring commissioner.
