According to AAA, Idaho drivers paid an average of $3.35 a gallon for regular gas today — five cents less than last week — with Lewiston stations charging $3.19 a gallon.
Lower gasoline and crude stocks contributed to the savings even as the national average held at $3.04.
Gas prices in Idaho dropped to $3.35 per gallon as of Monday — five cents lower than last week and fourteen cents lower than a month ago, though still six cents above last year.
Falling crude oil supplies could soon impact savings at the pump.
🎓 Education
Nearly 99% of Idaho public school teachers earned at least a proficient grade last school year as reported by the state board — 270 teachers fell below proficient, which affects their salaries and state funding.
The evaluation covered 20,327 teachers in 188 school districts and charter schools.
🏥 Health
TriState Health Wellness will host a free prediabetes education class on Monday, November 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1221 Highland Avenue in Clarkston (in the TriState Conference Room) where registered dietitian nutritionists will guide participants on healthy lifestyle changes to lower the risk of type 2 diabetes.
