Residents in Lewiston will join a parade on Main Street this Saturday that honors local veterans and raises awareness for homeless veterans.
Douglas Welch—veteran and parade organizer—stated that groups including the Idaho Veterans Home, the Nez Perce tribe, and first responders will participate in the event.
🚧 Accidents
On November 11 at about 9:42 a.m. at Mile Marker 317 on Lewiston Hill, Deputies and State Troopers were responding to a vehicle fire when collisions occurred due to speeding in dense fog—two drivers in a later collision were taken to St. Joe’s as officials urge drivers to slow down and use headlights in reduced visibility.

Idaho Superintendent Critchfield announced a simplified financial transparency tool that compiles school budget details + districts and charter schools must post it online to help parents and taxpayers understand education spending.
🏈 Sports
LC State Women's Golf coach Zach Anderson announced today that Swedish golfer Alice Mattsson signed to join the Warriors’ 2026—27 roster and will join Paola Sakota this fall.
She earned top finishes in several tournaments in Sweden and her strong club experience is expected to boost the team’s play next season.
LC State Women’s Cross Country will compete in the NAIA National Championships for the 25th year — after a fourth-place finish at the Cascade Conference meet — and Kobe Wessels earned a spot as an individual for the men's race on Nov.
21 at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee.
