- ➤ A new Amazon delivery facility in Pullman opened last October and has been sorting 2,500 to 3,500 packages daily—helping get packages to rural areas faster. The company said it will expand service to Lewiston-Clarkston Valley in January—adding several delivery stops to speed service. KLEW
- ➤ Hopper’s Pizza Buffet announced on Facebook that it will close its Lewiston location on November 30 after 4.5 years of service—customers can visit until the final day. - ➤ The Lewiston Fire Department will conduct its final controlled burn of the Stewart Avenue training structure today at 9 a.m.—crews will remain until the site is safe and Stewart Avenue is closed between Thain Road and 8th Street while public viewing is offered from North 40 Outfitters and Zion’s Bank parking lots. - ➤ Lewiston Roundup Equine Facilities is closed because of an EHV-1 outbreak that stops all animal traffic for 21 days until at least December 10th. The announcement says the November 22nd and December 6th barrel races are cancelled—owners should check their horses' temperatures twice daily and keep any with a fever apart. Big Country News
