American Legion Post 52 will honor local veterans by placing 188 donated wreaths on graves at Pullman Cemetery on Saturday, Dec.
13 at 1:00 p.m. Volunteers should meet at the cemetery entrance and may call Ted Weatherly at 509-432-8096 with questions.

Scientists from the University of Idaho, Rutgers and Carnegie Science received a $1.25M grant from NSF for OneMineralogy; the project will expand Idaho's mineral data system and offer new AI tools and training to boost the mining workforce in Moscow.
🌲 Environment
Idaho Fish & Game is conducting aerial survey and capture operations between Dec.
6 and 15 in Game Management Units 11, 13, 14, and 18. The surveys help radio collar bighorn sheep and study mule deer to better understand wildlife movement and ensure minimal disturbance.

LC State men's basketball won 87—67 on Saturday against No. 12 College of Idaho in Caldwell.
Brandon Suber scored a career-high 18 points as the Warriors improved their season record to 7—3.
On Saturday, the No. 10 Warrior Women’s Basketball team beat College of Idaho in overtime at Caldwell; Lindsey Wilson recorded a double-double (11 points, 11 rebounds) as Payton Hymas and Sitara Byrd added 19 and 16 points to secure a 78-74 win and a 7-3 record.
