- ➤ Clearwater Power restored electricity for over 5,500 members, but 5,300 still remain without power, many having experienced outages for three days. High winds & wet soils caused falling trees and damaged lines, while additional snow and strong winds have slowed further repairs. KLEW
- ➤ Clearwater Power restored power today to over 5,500 members while 5,300 remain without power due to high winds, saturated soils, and fallen trees affecting rural lines. Crews continue to repair dangerous downed lines (including key routes north of Moscow and near Troy) to restore service quickly. Big Country News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lewiston residents on Thursday or Friday trash pick-up will experience a one-day delay during the weeks of Christmas and New Year's. Extra holiday trash may be set out at no charge from Dec. 26 to Jan. 2 while the Transfer Station and Clearwater Composting are closed on Dec. 24-25 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1. Big Country News
