Clearwater Power crews are back to work today to restore power for around 40 customers in rural Latah County still in the dark from last week’s windstorm.
Crews are operating in Moscow, Troy + Texas Ridge south of Deary.

Idaho Fish and Game released a video and podcast today that explain its habitat work in the Clearwater region using the Good Neighbor Authority to partner with groups like Nez Perce–Clearwater National Forest near Elk River.
The effort aims to create diverse habitats and support local wildlife.

Lewiston city council postponed revisions to ambulance transport fee rules until Feb.
2 as concerns over cost, safety and extended travel were raised during Monday’s meeting. Officials noted that current rules limit destination options and might hinder access to hospitals during severe weather.
🏥 Health
The FDA announced a recall of about 83,800 bags of frozen raw shrimp imported from Indonesia that may have been exposed to cesium-137.
The shrimp, sold under the Market 32 and Waterfront Bistro brands in local supermarkets including those in Idaho, should not be eaten and must be returned for a refund.
