- ➤ AAA reported that gas prices in Idaho have fallen, with the average for regular gas at $3.40—about five cents lower than last week—and Lewiston stations selling for $3.24. - ➤ Amid the ongoing federal government shutdown, Idaho’s Women Infants and Children program is funded by tariff revenue through October and possibly November—state health officials say that if the shutdown extends, limited funds may run out for nearly 32,000 participants. - ➤ Nez Perce County will close R-330 Road—also known as Cottonwood Creek Road—at George Creek Crossing near George Grade from November 3 until December 16 to replace the culvert with a new open bottom structure that will aid fish passage.
